Onionbag Scrim is an inexpensive, nonflamretardant, strong, open weave fabric made from jute. Because of its strength and durability, Onionbag Scrim is often used as a subsurface on which to apply heavy textural effects.

Burlap H 425 is an inexpensive, heavy weight, nonflameretardant jute material. It will not show wrinkles after folding and makes an excellent surface on which to build textures. Also ideal as a base material for tapestry paintings.
